Welcome and thank you for checking out what I am up to! I am an artist/creator/human from St. Louis Missouri. I enjoy creating a bunch of different stuff. All different styles and types of art. Especially working in Oil paints, pencil, and charcoal mediums. Subject matter varies a lot depending on what holds my interest. I love being outside and in nature so landscapes are always appealing to me in art, as well as, photography. Overall I enjoy the process of creating whether it is something small, simple, very deep or any point along that spectrum. I enjoy coming up with an idea or having a photo and then finding a way to design, sketch, problem solve, battle through procrastination or self doubt, finding more inspiration along the way in order to, eventually, arrive at the ending destination. It is like a constant battle to start, sustain, and finish projects to the best of my ability, but I know that each and every time I go through this process I am getting better. hey are noot always my best or turn out the way I had hoped, but the only way they are not successful is if I do not learn anything from them. I have so many ideas for creating art and hope to churn those out in the near future. I also enjoy photography, woodworking, running, and sports, to name a few things.

Ultimately art is about telling a story. Telling a story about myself, about the work, life or any other aspect. And hopefully the goal is the have it tell a story to the viewer. Or have the viewer tell a story about the work. The best part is the viewers story may be completely different than what the artist intended or it may be similar to what the artist had in mind. Either way it is about expressing an idea and having stories told. For me I would like those stories to be positive and helpful to an audience or viewer. Even if they come from negative, sad or scary sources, I would prefer to put positivity into the world. It does not mean that the negative things in our life are not talked about, but I want to learn from those things and allow myself to be a mechanism for positivity in what ever form that takes.

—Nice little rant and ramble hopefully it makes some sense. I am sure this will be changed frequently—January 2020
